BACK IN BRISTOL

For the first time ever, BACK IN is launching in Bristol in Summer 2022.

BACK IN Bristol is a nine-month talent development programme for early-career Black filmmakers in and around Bristol, produced by Punch and managed by Curator, Gary Thompson from Cables & Cameras. 

This programme originated in Birmingham and is now launching in Bristol with nine months of micro boot camps by recognised professionals from a range of backgrounds, supporting emerging Black filmmakers. This programme will culminate with filmmakers getting commissioned to create a short film.

If you are a filmmaker living in Bristol and identify as a Black filmmaker or creative, then you're in the right place. Please note that this programme will require 2 days per-month commitment.
