Kelsey Reid
Kelsey Reid is a graduate of the Northern Film School. She is a writer/director who in her final year was selected to direct her own screenplay as one of the graduate films, achieving a First-Class award. She enjoys making movies that inspire, influence and teach valuable life messages.

Rico Johnson-Sinclair
Rico Johnson-Sinclair is festival director of CineQ and has facilitated two short films commissioned by Birmingham LGBT around local social causes. He’s produced a BFI NETWORK funded short film 'Sweet Mother' directed by Zena Igbe which screened at BFI Flare (at home), Leeds International Film Festival and SQIFF in 2020.

Charmaine Quailey
Charmaine Quailey is an actress, presenter and MD at OutKast Productions, the creator of The Why Event that enlightens people on domestic abuse through different forms of arts. She returned to her love of film to tell stories that hopefully will evoke an emotional reaction from the viewer.

Michelle Maycock
Michelle is a visual artist with a love for film. Having had a successful career as a photographer in the children’s fashion industry, she is currently studying Fine Art at BCU focusing on film, photography and moving image, bringing a conceptual approach to film which combines narrative with beautiful imagery.

Stefan Davis
Stefan Davis is a filmmaker from Birmingham. Graduating from Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts with a B.A. honours in Acting he currently works as an assistant director for BBC's Doctors. His feature debut is an official selection for BUFF 2020.

Elishah St Juste
Elishah St Juste is an actor and international filmmaker, with over 20 years experience of working with young people and as a creative arts practitioner. Focusing on ‘challenging mindsets through the arts'; her work primarily utilises theatre and film as powerful social tools, to create sustainable change.

Adaya Henry
Adaya Henry is an actor, Spoken word artist and writer. In 2018 she went viral with a poem called ‘This is for Brum?’ which was recognised by ITV News and the BBC. In 2019 she made her writing debut with her solo show which was previewed at the Birmingham REP as an artist on the poetic theatre maker’s programme.

Haydn Thomas
BACK IN 2019-2020
After being featured on the prestigious '30 under 30' list, Haydn has been creating a variety of high level films up and down the country through his own production company Haydn Thomas Films. He is continuing to work on narrative films and now a qualified drone operator.

With years of industry success as a writer, Sara has brought her skills to the Back In stage and excelled in her craft as a story teller whilst making a solid name for herself in the local industry. Sara is now working on content for television and wider platforms.

Jamaal Jones
BACK IN 2017-2018
Jamaal, a talent content creator had amazing success on the programme and has now moved to London where he is the official filmmaker for television and radio personality 'Sideman', where he creates countless comedy sketches which have gone viral across the country.

Tenisha White
BACK IN 2017-2018
Tenisha has excelled since leaving the programme, and gone on to produce a number of films for the BBC, working with Rural Media as lead producer as well as working and featuring in a cinematically released feature film. Tenisha continues to release original films that she produces through her own successful company.
